Shop Technician II (2nd Shift) – Caterpillar Reman | West Fargo, ND

Caterpillar Remanufacturing currently has openings for Shop Technician II positions supporting Reman Drivetrain located in the West Fargo, ND facility. The Shop Technician II operates a variety of tools and equipment to assemble and disassemble product. Caterpillar provides all tools and equipment to perform this job at no cost to the employee.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Range: $22.21 – $28.26 (based on skills/experience)
• 2nd shift 7% night shift premium
• 2nd Shift Hours: 4:15 PM – 2:45 AM, Monday – Thursday
• 40-hour work weeks with overtime potential

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic and advanced assembly and disassembly operations
• Identify and accurately categorize wear patterns of parts
• Use blueprints, gauges, and torque measuring devices
• Assist in development of new assembly and disassembly procedures
• Train other technicians in various operations
• Perform preventive maintenance and 5S Audits

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to repetitively lift and carry up to 35 pounds
• Effective oral and written communication skills
